July 8 NYC

Today ‘all’ we did was attend Redeemer Presbyterian and fly home, but can I say ‘WOW’ that church knocked my socks off!

NYC is commonly referred to as ‘the toughest mission field in North America’ but this church is doing GREAT things in the city!! They are growing in leaps and bounds, they are missional, they are changing the city, they are attracting people in all walks of life, they are liturgical, they love God, they love people….

The facilities are stripped out & ‘bare’. They are simple. They focus on the word of God.

We have much to learn.

Then we grabbed a Starbucks, headed to the airport, had lunch, watched the mens final of Wimbledon and flew home.

Thank you Mommy Joey and Daddy Jay for having our children. They had a blast!

My favorite picture from the trip….
