Day 18 – San Francisco, CA

Well, today we got so much done, but there was still more we wanted to do! RAGHH! A trip back to this state we have fallen in love with is going to be a MUST! (Don’t worry though not sure I would ever want to live here nor could I ever afford to! hahaha)

We took a bus tour of the city, walked across the Golden Gate Bridge, walked along the beach, ate on Pier 39, saw the sea lions, walked in the Golden Gate Park, saw the house Mrs Doubtfire was filmed in, saw crazy people and homeless people, ate seafood (turns out our children love calamari!), saw city hall, saw lots of shops that I could never afford to shop in, drove by china town, drove by symphony hall…there’s more, but I am running out of time!

We didn’t manage to ride a cable care or see the curvy part of Lombard street due to a street festival that is in town 😦

BUT this city is so amazing, we all agreed we want to come back. Maybe next time we will do a fly drive from San Diego up Highway 1 to San Francisco! It’s a great dream!
