Day 16 – Yosemite, CA

Today we spent the day in Yosemite, California. It was breath-taking. It was beautiful.

We stopped first at the Mariposa Grove and saw worlds largest tree and the famous tree that you can drive through! Did you know that is man-made and was done as a way to attract tourists? There were two originally, but one fell over!

There is such a sense that ‘if these trees could speak they would have a tale to tell’. It was amazing.

We then drive to the Yosemite Valley where we saw El Capitan, Half Dome and Bridal Veil. Again breath-taking. It was quite awesome to think that such amazing things are within just minutes of each other!

Another National Park stole our hearts – 5 in case you are counting.
