Day 7 – Monument Valley Utah/Arizona

Today we drove from Moab,Utah through Monument Valley and onto Flagstaff, Arizona. Monument Valley is on the Utah/Arizona Boarder and you cross through both a couple times.

It was another beautiful drive and I was snapping pictures the whole time! We even got to drive off road through the Valley. This is the only way to get close as it is an Indian Reservation and they try to keep it as close to natural as they can.

At one point Abigail thought we were all going to die as a small sand storm blew through and then moments later we got stuck! ha Her quote of the¬†day was ‘You’re all psycho!’ and she basically refused to get out of the car. Graham and I were very caring parents and started cracking up!

At another point we asked the children to stop being so loud and enjoy the views. Jacob retorted ‘Why? It is just more giant red rocks!’ hahaha

Anyway, we all lived and had a great adventure. We also had great conversations Native Americans – that is one of the downfalls of your mom having studied this at College!

Without further ado the top pictures of the day!

Ok, I am posting this without pics as something is struggling … computer/wordpress/internet….pics as soon as I can!

Everything working fine today ! YEA!!
