Day 6 – The Arches National Park, Utah

Today we drove Highway 70 West from Denver and can I just say it was one of my favorite roads ever to drive! It was an early start and we were on the road by 7am! Team Richards is getting good at this.

We then drove a fairly uneventful (bar the throwing up) 6+ hours to the Arches National Park in Utah. We arrived to a 90*F but the clouds rolled in just for us and cooled things down – woohoo!

We went to the Visitors Centered first as we were shortish on time and got the Jr Ranger info. Watched a cool video and started driving and hiking. It was a beautiful drive and the views in the park were amazing too!

In case you are counting we are up to 3 Jr Ranger Badges! I think I may become a huge advocate of the National Park Program! We have encountered only lovely Rangers and it has been a wonderful educational experience so far.
