Natchez Day 6

The email you will read below perfectly sums up why I encourage short-term missions trips. If done well they change lives on both the ‘giving and receiving’ parties.

Hey ya’ll,
Today was our last day to work on projects for the Natchez Childrens Home & Thrift Shop…we even had a crew at womens crisis shelter!   We all regret having to say so long to many folks we served this week.  I’ll tell you what, if you have never went on a mission trip before, I would highly encourage you to seek one out & do it!  It is life transforming…sometimes unexpectedly!  God not only has blessed the wonderful folks we served this week, but has blessed us infinatly with the relationships & emotions beyond what we could ever do with just ourselves.  I would encourage you to get out of your comfort zone & live outside your own little box, get out of routines & ask God to provide you with those opportunities to be His light!  Friday is a work day at our host church, Community Chapel!  So good night ya’l!
His hands & feet,
M, S & H
