If you are planning on moving first plan, then plan some more and while you are at it you might as well plan! Just saying.
I will never forget our move here just over 2 years ago. Goodness gracious me! The planning was out of this world. I had note pads filled with things to do. As well as moving a house both Graham, my husband, and I were winding down from our jobs.
I am currently watching a couple of friends move either overseas or far, far away. The amount of planning that they are going through is unbelievable. Sometimes you plan and then scratch it all and start over again.
One thing I will say is plan for the unexpected. It’ll happen. I was just in a planning meeting and everyone laughed when we said this, but it’s true! Oh so true. If you are ever travelling with my family one thing we always have in the back of our minds is that we will likely have a doctor or hospital visit. Seriously.
Abigail has epilepsy and Jacob has a tree nut allergy. We travel with a small chemist. We almost always end up at a doctors or hospital. Although I am thankful to say when we went to Florida this summer we did not! I only had to go to CVS (the pharmacist/chemist for over the counter meds – ha!)
